Failed after four recharge cycles.
Original 500 series NiMh battery lasted 200 full discharge cycles (cleaning two rooms once every seven days couple of years, always left about the charger between; resetting and long recharge failed to revive it). This replacement charged and ran properly as is also nevertheless for only four charges. There is apparently no warranty from the company, and after use is probably not returnable to Amazon (still within four weeks and seems as refundable by Amazon, so will ask for a refund for many years and find out). (Was refunded -- Amazon is supplying the backup the suppliers don't do themselves, probably more cost-effective over-all for small items and all sorts of the shipping).
After failing will not hold a charge; the full charge light happens after quarter-hour, along with the Roomba is dead when started up or runs 5 minutes. This really is after due to being on the charger 7 days, starting with supposedly full charge. Same symptoms similar to the original battery. But it worked well a couple of times, to ensure the system seems intact -- the only real variation will be the battery.
