SteamFast SF-275 SteamMax Steam Cleaner for sale

SteamFast SF-275 SteamMax Steam Cleaner for sale
I've had this steam cleaner approximately 6 weeks and have thought it was a great addition to my cleaning tool arsenal. It can have its limitations, however.

The positive features is the fact it's not hard to setup and employ, as well as the compact shape allows you to discover a destination for a store it when you find yourself not deploying it. Setup is usually a snap - just attach the handle using one screw, along with the manufacturer is thoughtful enough to supply extra long, thin screwdriver because handle screw is recessed. Nice touch. Also has a large amount of attachments for just about anything you'd want to clean (grout lines, counter tops, floors, windows, BBQ grills, etc.).

The most significant plus would be the price. I've considered steam cleaners for years, but was always delay because of the steep price tags. Many of the high end European models run $1,500 or maybe more - to the type of money, I'd rather pay that you clean to me! So, the lowest costs are an enormous plus.

BUT, this low of an price means you're not having the functionality of the top end machine. E.g., the steam is pretty wet, and you may also get a big dribble of water when you begin up after pausing for a few moments. The tank is quite small, and also you can't increase the water without letting it quiet down first. The attachments are OK with regards to function, but wear with a fairly fast rate. Construction is designed for the price paid, but you will have to be aware you don't damage the wands since they will be all plastic.

In general, however, I'm pleased with this. It causes it to become less difficult to clean grout lines on our kitchen counters and floors, which can be the main reason I obtained it. Again, it isn't really magic - you'll still need to put some work with it, however it is much, much, Less of a challenge than having a scrubber. What works well for me should be to spray on some grout and tile cleaner first, allow it to needlessly set for a moment, then hit it while using steam. Mop having a clean microfiber towel and start working on the next section. I will do a full room inside time that it used to take me to accomplish a small area with my trusty scrubbing brush.

I've have had accomplishment using it to completely clean soap scum off tiles and shower doors, getting in the nooks/crannies around faucets and toilets, and cleaning drips/spills inside oven and also on the number top. Light to moderate dirt/grime appears with just steam. More intensive messes (or shavers that are very greasy) need to be sprayed first which has a spray cleaner (409, Fantastic, or whatever get you noticed like) to help you the steam do its work.

Don't forget, it sprays steam - it doesn't suck it backup such as a carpet cleaner. Keep a towel handy to mop up the lake and loosened dirt. Microfiber is ideal, but any absorbent rag can do.

Number of points to keep in mind:

1) Use drinking water, particularly if you have calcium in the water. An accumulation of scale/vitamins will kill a steam vapor cleaner in a short time.

2) Wear ear plugs for anyone who is in a compact room (like a bathroom). The background level really can get to you after twenty or so minutes possibly even.

3) There's another model expressed by McCulloch that may be quite like this with the exception that it possesses a great slightly longer hose plus a different colored casing. Pick whichever one is on sale/best price - these are functionally identical.
